...read more]]> Today, we have lost an honourable man in the MRM community. Earl Silverman, through desperation, took his own life this morning. Earl had run the only mens domestic violence shelter in North America. Funding out of his own pocket until funding ran out and had to shut down.

An advocate messaged: “The fellow I was staying with in Calgary hung himself this morning. He had spent 20 years fighting the courts and agencies of government to have men recognized as victims of domestic abuse worthy of equal treatment by the courts and government. He was frustrated because no one seemed to care or do anything about it. In his own case, he was victimized first by his ex and later by a system that didn’t care to hear him. No [one] wanted to help the battle.”

RIP Earl Silverman

From “Misogyny and Misandry to Intersexual Dialogue” was a dialogue between Dr. Katherine Young and Dr. Paul Nathanson, authors of Spreading Misandry and Legalizing Misandry. Setup by Canadian Association for Equality (CAFE)

This was an event against sexism. Described by CAFE and organizers as:

“A conversation exploring the effects on both men and women of our current approach to gender and how we might foster a genuinely intersexual – and intersectional – dialogue that is both broad and deep, while incorporating all aspects of personal and social identity”

Protesters were abundant and clearly disruptive with their chanting before the fire alarm went off. After the delay an informative discussion took place bringing light to issues faced by men in our society.

A YouTube user succinctly pointed out:

“How much of an idiot do you have to be to attempt to disrupt a dialogue that is talking against the things that you say you’re against?” – MrEniena

The omni-benevolent feminist showed us their best behaviour and deportment. Chanting that this event was misogynistic, fascist, rape apologetic, and many other ad hominem slurs…

We gave you the opportunity to see the whole event without any bias. It is clear to us and the MRM community what we are up against. Bigotry and fascism. Their opinion is the only one allowed to be heard. There cannot even be peaceful discussion…

Why are Feminists, who are intellectually/morally “superior”, afraid of discussion and debate? Which they were invited as long as they adhered to U of T policies. Instead their childish acts can be heard in the background, lights were turned off, and the fire alarm pulled again…
